Our Story

Why Lighthouse?

In 2023 we decided it was time for a change.  We had grown, developed and evolved as an organisation, and we wanted our brand to match these changes, allowing us to speak with even more confidence about the work we do and love.

The Lighthouse symbolises our deeply held belief that we can all be in a position to serve and perhaps save one another; that when called upon, we should use our strengths and expertise to guide and equip those that seek our help to find their path and navigate a brighter future.

Our History

Lighthouse on The Marsh is a charity built on 30 years of community activities, support services and specialist education on the Romney Marsh and beyond.

Our Commitment

Our team is committed to delivering an outstanding service to our community with kindness and compassion at the heart. As an employer we place equal value on lived experience as we do on professional qualification; expertise lives inside and outside of the classroom.
